Every Matter is in Pairs

The Modern Science Teaches us the concept of “Every Matter is in Pairs. Let us learn the brief timeline of this concept and make an analysis of the same concept from the Quran.

1/Modern Science

The concept of “Every Matter is in Pairs,” often associated with the idea of paired particles or dualities in physics, doesn’t have a single, definitively established timeline with specific dates and researchers in the same way as, for example, the development of the atomic model. Instead, it’s a concept that has evolved through various theories and discoveries in different areas of physics, particularly quantum mechanics and particle physics. The idea is that fundamental particles exist in pairs or have properties that are inherently linked, reflecting a deeper symmetry in the universe

Early Concepts and Foundations (Early 20th Century)

The groundwork for understanding “matter in pairs” was laid in the early 20th century with the development of quantum mechanics.

  • 1920s: The development of quantum mechanics, with contributions from physicists like Werner Heisenberg, Erwin Schrödinger, and Paul Dirac, introduced the concept of wave-particle duality. This meant that particles, like electrons, could behave as both particles and waves. This duality, while not directly “pairs,” suggested a fundamental interconnectedness of matter and energy.
  • 1928: Paul Dirac formulated the Dirac equation, which combined quantum mechanics with special relativity. This equation predicted the existence of antimatter, specifically the positron (the antimatter counterpart of the electron). This was a significant step towards the idea of matter existing in pairs, as for every particle, there is a corresponding antiparticle.

Particle Physics and the Standard Model (Mid to Late 20th Century)

The Standard Model of particle physics further developed the concept of paired particles and symmetries.

  • 1960s-1970s: The development of the Standard Model, which describes the fundamental particles and forces of nature, revealed that particles often come in pairs or have related properties. For example, quarks come in pairs (up/down, charm/strange, top/bottom), and leptons come in pairs (electron/electron neutrino, muon/muon neutrino, tau/tau neutrino). The concept of “flavor” and “color” charges further highlighted the paired nature of these particles.
  • 1964: The discovery of the Higgs mechanism, which explains how particles acquire mass, introduced the Higgs boson. While not a direct “pair” in the same sense as particle-antiparticle pairs, the Higgs boson is intrinsically linked to the existence and properties of other particles, suggesting a deeper interconnectedness.

Modern Developments and Beyond (Late 20th Century – Present)

Modern physics continues to explore the implications of “matter in pairs” through various theories and experiments.

  • Late 20th Century – Present: Research in areas like supersymmetry (SUSY) proposed that every known particle has a “super partner.” While SUSY hasn’t been experimentally confirmed, it suggests a fundamental pairing of particles based on their spin properties. String theory, which posits that fundamental particles are not point-like but are vibrating strings, also suggests a deeper level of duality and interconnectedness in the universe.
  • Ongoing: Experiments at particle accelerators like the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) continue to probe the nature of particles and their interactions, seeking to understand the fundamental symmetries and dualities that govern the universe. Research into quantum entanglement, where two particles become linked and share the same fate regardless of the distance separating them, also highlights the interconnectedness of matter.

What “Pairs” Means: Examples and Explanations

The concept of “pairs” in this context can manifest in several ways:

  1. Particle-Antiparticle Pairs: For every particle of matter, there exists a corresponding antiparticle with the same mass but opposite charge and other quantum properties. When a particle and its antiparticle meet, they can annihilate each other, releasing energy. Examples include:
    • Electron and Positron: The electron is a fundamental particle with a negative charge, and the positron is its antiparticle with a positive charge.
    • Proton and Antiproton: The proton is a particle found in the nucleus of an atom, and the antiproton is its antiparticle.
  2. Quark Pairs and Lepton Pairs: The Standard Model organizes fundamental particles into quarks and leptons, which often come in pairs or groups with related properties.
    • Quarks: Quarks come in six “flavors” (up, down, charm, strange, top, bottom), and each flavor has an associated antiquark.
    • Leptons: Leptons include electrons, muons, taus, and their corresponding neutrinos. Each charged lepton has a corresponding neutrino.
  3. Symmetry and Duality: The concept of “pairs” can also refer to symmetries and dualities in physics. For example, in some theories, there might be a duality between a particle and a wave, or between different types of forces.
  4. Superpartners (Supersymmetry): Supersymmetry (SUSY) proposes that every known particle has a superpartner, which is a particle with the same mass but different spin. This would create a pairing between bosons and fermions.

The idea of “Every Matter is in Pairs” is a broad concept that reflects the fundamental symmetries and dualities observed in the universe. It is not a single theory with a specific date and researcher, but rather an evolving understanding of the interconnectedness of matter and energy, driven by advancements in quantum mechanics, particle physics, and cosmology.

2/Quranic Science

Now Let’s learn what the Quran says about this Concept.

Quran Chapter Number 36 Surat Yasin Ayat Number 36

سُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَزۡوَٲجَ ڪُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمِنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ (٣٦)

First Miracle you can see the Chapter Number and Ayat is in pairs Chapter 36 Verse 36!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this not strange?

Nothing in the Quran is Coincidence but well planned in advance by the creator of the Universe.

Now let’s translate:

TRANSLATION

Glory be to Him Who created pairs of all things, of what the earth grows, and of their kind and of what they do not know.

(سُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ) Glory be to Him Who created

( ٱلۡأَزۡوَٲجَ ڪُلَّهَا) Pairs of all Things

( مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ) of what the earth grows,

(وَمِنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡ) and of their kind (Human Being-Man and Woman and also covers Body Parts such as Hands, Eyes, Ears and so on……

(وَمِمَّا لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ)and of what they do not know

As this verse teaches us, the topic of pairs is vast and encompasses both what we know and what we don’t know, highlighting how limited our knowledge really is.

Allah tell us that

He created everything in pairs, including humans and all we know and don’t know.

Allah is great, and we can only praise Him.

“Allah (God) is Great. (Means Allahu Akbar)
