    Branches of Astronomy

    “Astronomy is the study of celestial objects and phenomena. It is the all-encompassing term that studies everything beyond Earth’s atmosphere. It applies the concepts from physics, biology, and geology to explain their origin and evolution.”

    We can divide astronomy into 4 sub-fields:

    ASTROPHYSICS: Applying the laws of physics in space

    ASTROMETRY: Mapping celestial bodies

    ASTROGEOLOGY: Examining rocks, terrain, and material in space

    ASTROBIOLOGY: Searching for life outside Earth

    And we can categorize it into various branches of astronomy.

    1. Astrophysics: Astrophysics applies the principles of physics to astronomy. Akin to geophysics which studies Earth’s physics, astrophysics relates physical processes and properties to stars, celestial bodies, and its surrounding space.

    2. Cosmology: Cosmology is different from astrophysics because it studies the evolution and expansion of the universe. For example, cosmologists study red-shift to see how fast the universe is expanding.

    3. Spectroscopy: Spectroscopy studies how light reflects, absorbs, and transfers between matter. In a similar manner, photometry examines how luminous astronomical objects are in space based on electromagnetic radiation properties.

    4. Heliophysics: Heliophysics studies the sun’s constant and dynamic radiation that affects its surroundings in space. There have been various heliophysics missions to study space weather, solar flares, and the constant stream of solar particles from the sun.

    5. Helioseismology: Helioseismology is closely related to asteroseismology. They both study the internal structure of stars by measuring radiation and oscillations. However, helioseismology specifically focuses on our sun.

    6. Asteroseismology: Asteroseismology is a branch of astronomy that studies the internal structure of stars by observing their oscillations.

    7. Astrometry: Astrometry focuses on the precise position of celestial bodies. It also provides a frame of reference for the movement of stars and individual objects in space.

    8. Exoplanetology: Exoplanetology inventories how many and where planets exist outside of our solar system. This inventory of planets lists all potential residences for new life outside of Earth.

    SLIDE 1- THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE MASS BETWEEN THE SUN AND STAR (SIRIUS A)

    First Let us Understand What is a Mass? The Simple Answer is

    “Mass is a measure of the amount of matter in an object“

    If we divide the Mass of the Star Sirius A by The Mass of The Sun we get the RATIO 2 (3.978/1989=2) and From the Quran The Ayat (Verse) which mention Sirius Star is Number 49 From Surat (Chapter)Number 53 has 4 Words and If we divide these 4 Words by the 2 Words of The Ayat Number one From the Surat Known as the SUN (Chapter Number 91) we get Ratio 2 . (4/2=2)Quran and Science has no any Contradiction. Science can go wrong but not Quran. No Mistakes in the Quran. It’s the word of Allah (God) the Creator of everything.

    SLIDE NUMBER2 (RADIUS OF SIRIUS STAR COMPARED TO THE EARTH)

    Sirius, also called Alpha Canis Majoris or the Dog Star, brightest star in the night sky, with apparent visual magnitude −1.46. It is a binary star in the constellation Canis Major. The bright component of the binary is a blue-white star 25.4 times as luminous as the Sun. It has a radius 1.71 times that of the Sun and a surface temperature of 9,940 kelvins (K), which is more than 4,000 K higher than that of the Sun. Its distance from the solar system is 8.6 light-years, only twice the distance of the nearest known star system beyond the Sun, the Alpha Centauri system. Its name comes from a Greek word meaning “sparkling” or “scorching.”

    Now let’s divide the Chapter Numbers of the Quran. The Chapter Sun is Number 91 and Chapter which mentions the Star Sirius is Number 53 and when we Divide 91 to 53 (91 / 53=1.71698 ) we get Exactly what the Scientists Teaches us!!!!!!!. it’s 1.71 Allahu Akbar (God Is Great) We don’t need any Machine to measure the Radius. Quran Gives us and immediate answer. How can Prophet Mohamad knew this Calculation during the tme Arabs use to ride Camels in the Desert. This proves that Quran is the word of Allah and we have to learn and Follow it’s teachings. Quran is Indeed Beautiful.

    SLIDE3- (TEMPERATURE OF THE IRON CORE)

    Scientists teaches us that the Temperature of the Iron Core is 15 Million Kelvins (A Kelvin is a unit of temperature like Fahrenheit of Celsius. Room temperature is about 300 Kelvin, so stars are very hot. and The Surface Temperature is 5778 Degrees Kelvins.

    From The Quran we get the same measurement in a matter of Seconds and we don’t require Machines and Computers to measure the Temperature. Surah (Chapter) Number 91 is know as “SUN” and it has 15 Ayaat (Verses) and this is the Core Temperature of the SUN!!!!!!! –The 15 here in relationship to the first Ayat which says “The Sun and It’s Light” of Surat Ashams –(Chapter 91 known as Ashams). Now let’s find the Surface Temperature. If we count the Ayaat between the first time the word “SUN” is mentioned in the Quran From Surta Al-Baqarah, Ayat Number 258 which says:

    أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِي حَاجَّ إِبْرَٰهِمَ فِي رَبِّهِ أَنْ ءَاتَىٰهُ اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ إِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِمُ رَبِّيَ الَّذِي يُحْيِ وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا أُحْيِ وَأُمِيتُ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِمُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْتِي بِالشَّمْسِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ فَأْتِ بِهَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّٰلِمِينَ

    and if we count all the Quran Ayaat (Verses) between this Ayat and between Ayat Number 1 Sura Number 91 the last time the word “SUN” to me used (mentioned) we will get exactly 5778 Ayaat which hints to the Surface Temperature of the SUN in Kelvin Measurement.

    So we get both in the Quran; The Surface and Core Temperature. So here let’s think. How it comes that we get 100% correct each time we make calculations. What is this Book about? It’s impossible. Let’s meditate.     SLIDE 4 (DIAMETER OF THE SUN AND EARTH)

    The sun’s diameter is around 109 times the diameter of the earth. The sun’s diameter is approximately equal to 1391400 km and that of the earth is nearly 12756 km or 12742 Km The ratio of diameters of the sun to that of the earth is nearly 109. When we divide the Earth to the Sun Diameter we will get 109 Earths. That means the diameter of the sun is equivalent to 109 Earths.

    If we count the words From The word الارض of the Quran Surat Number 2 Ayat Number 255 To The word بالشمس of Surat Number 2 Ayat Number 288 we will get exactly 109 Words which Hints to the Diameter of both the Sun and Earth and their relationship!!!!!!

    الله لا اله الا هو الحي القيوم لا تاخذه سنه ولا نوم له ما في السموت وما في الارض من ذا الذي يشفع عنده الا باذنه يعلم ما بين ايديهم وما خلفهم ولا يحيطون بشي من علمه الا بما شا وسع كرسيه السموت والارض ولا يوده حفظهما وهو العلي العظيم

    الم تر الي الذي حاج ابرهم في ربه ان اتيه الله الملك اذ قال ابرهم ربي الذي يحي ويميت قال انا احي واميت قال ابرهم فان الله ياتي بالشمس من المشرق فات بها من المغرب فبهت الذي كفر والله لا يهدي القوم الظلمين

    SLIDE 4 (THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE SUN AND EARTH)

    The Sun is at an average distance of about 93,000,000 miles (150 million kilometres) away from Earth. Some Sources gives us 149 597 890 km. Whatever the Small Differences but when we divide the Distance with the Diameter of the Sun we get 107 Sun Diameters. Therefore 107 Suns can fit between The Sun and Earth. It’s amazing that

    When we count the words between The word الارض (Earth) of the Quran Surat Number 2 Ayat Number 255 and The word بالشمس (Sun) of Surat Number 2 Ayat Number 288 we will get exactly 107 Words which Hints to the Distance between the Sun and Earth. So the Same Suras (Chapters) and Same Ayaat (Verses). as the Previous Research here above (The Diameter of The Sun And Earth) gives us The Distance between the Sun and Earth and also as we have seen above we also get the Sun and Earth Diameters!!!!!! I can’t believe myself. Its really amazing. Quran is one of the Greatest Miracles of the Miracles. It’s beyond our capacity to explain. we only say “Allahu Akbar” (God is the Greatest)
