The Quran, a sacred text revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) over a span of 23 years, contains verses that serve as signs and proofs of its divine origin. While the primary purpose of the Quran is to guide humanity spiritually and morally, it also encompasses knowledge and insights that have amazed scholars and scientists throughout history.

One such area of wonder is geology. The Quran mentions the existence of colored mountains, which piques our curiosity. In modern times, we have come to understand geological formations and the diverse range of colors found in mountains due to various factors such as mineral composition, erosion, and tectonic activity. This mention in the Quran serves as an astounding example of the book’s foresight, acknowledging concepts that were not fully comprehensible at the time of revelation.

Moreover, the Quran refers to mountains as “pegs” or stabilizers for the Earth. This metaphorical description aligns with our current understanding of how mountains contribute to the stability of the Earth’s crust and its tectonic processes. Additionally, mountains play a vital role in regulating climate, acting as barriers to wind and influencing precipitation patterns. The Quran’s recognition of mountains as stabilizing elements showcases its deep insight into the natural world.

It is important to note that the Quran is not presented as a scientific textbook but rather as a spiritual and moral guide. However, the scientific accuracy found within its verses reinforces the belief in its divine origin, particularly given the limited scientific knowledge available during the time of its revelation.

The Quranic references to scientific phenomena serve as a reminder of the infinite wisdom and knowledge possessed by the Creator. As science and technology continue to advance, we anticipate discovering even more remarkable correlations between the Quran and various aspects of the natural world.

In conclusion, the scientific wonders mentioned in the Quran continue to captivate and astonish individuals across different fields of study. SLIDE NUMBER 1 (MOUNTAINS-ROOTS)

The most important point is that mountains have buoyant roots that extend downward into the mantle beneath a mountain range, and that the roots are, in general, about 5.6 times deeper than the height of the range. This result reflects the difference between the densities of average crust and mantle.

It fell to George Biddell Airy, the Astronomer Royal, to review Pratt’s paper for the Royal Society. And it was he who came up with the geologically more correct explanation of these puzzling gravity anomalies. Mountains, Airy said, exert less gravitational pull than they should do because they have roots. So Geology of “Mountains Having Roots” is a New Science.

It’s wrong to think that in the 7th Century this Fact was known. How is it possible that Quran speaks about Mountains having Roots in the below AYAT (Verse). The only one who taught Prophet Mohamad during that time is Allah and no one else.

Peru’s Rainbow Mountain colours were discovered around ten years ago; the exact date is unknown, but most agree it was between 2012-15 that it caught international attention and
Until quite recently, the Chinese Rainbow Mountains were relatively unknown. Chinese archaeologists charted the area in the 1920s but because of its remoteness, few people visited. Quran is one of the greatest Miracle on this Earth. We have to accept Prophet Mohamad. Just read the below Ayat from the Quran and ask yourself a Question. “Who taught Prophet Mohamad about “Rainbow Mountains” Allahu Akbar.

SLIDE NUMBER 4 (7 CONTINENTS)

The word Land and Sea/Ocean is used together on the same “Ayat” (Verse) only 7 times in the Whole Book “The Quran”. The revelation took 23 years. This Proves that the arrangement of the “SURAS” and “AYAAT” were under the Supervision of the Angel Jibril. It’s not possible that The Quantities of these “AYAAT” (Verses) to be 7 same as The Number of The World Continents. This is not by Chance its a Plan from Allah to prove the Quran Authenticity in this Present Age of Science and Technology. Allahu Akbar. No Human being can do this type of arrangement. And These 7 “Ayaat” are from Different “SURAS” and were revealed on different occasions. Allahu Akbar.

SLIDE NUMBER 5(EARTH ROUNDNESS-SPHERICAL SHAPE)

When we divide the Polar Diameter to the Polar Circumference we will get the Polar Ratio of 3.14 or 3.15. (see the calculation on this SLIDE) and its Strange that the below AYAT (Verse) in the Quran hints about Spherical or Roundness of the Earth by using the word “YUKAWIRU” which means WRAPPING In a Continuous Tense same as the Earth spinning continuously on itself. There are 24 letters before the word “YUKAWIRU” and 76 letters after the word “YUKAWIRU” If we assume 24 is the Polar Diameter and 76 is the Polar Circumference and divide them we get approximately 3.16 which is the nearest to the Above Scientific World Calculation. If we change the number of letters such as less or more than 24 or less or more than 76 we will get a Ratio very far from 3.14 and therefore 76 and 24 are the best and accurate. This proves that Quran is authentic and it’s the same since revelation. Not a single Letter, word, Ayat, or Surat were added or removed since revelation. Allahu Akbar. God is Great.

SLIDE NUMBER 6(KAABA LOCATION ON THE MAP)

The verse number 2:125 in the Quran holds a fascinating coincidence. When we search for the coordinates of Mecca on Google Maps, we find that the latitude corresponds to 21:25:22, which matches the verse number. Similarly, the longitude corresponds to 39:49:35, which has a connection to the words and letters in the verse. This alignment suggests that the Quran is not merely the words of the Prophet, but a divine creation. It’s astounding to see such intricacies that go beyond human capabilities

Now let’s analyse these two numbers from the Ayat on this SLIDE. The Ayat has 22 words which points to the Seconds of the Latitude. And If we count the words from the end of the Quran to the word MIN which means FROM we get 3949 words and this number points to the Degrees and Minutes of the Longitude 39:49. The Letters from the beginning of this Ayat to the word MIN are 35!!! and this number points to the Seconds of the Longitude.

SLIDE NUMBER 7(AGE OF EARTH)

The word “ARDH” in Arabic translated to Earth is used in the whole Quran 461 Times Only.

Some Scientific Sources says that the age of the Earth is 4.61 Billion Years and others says that it’s less than 4.61 Billion years old but whatever number is given I believe that the 4.61 is the Maximum before the Big Crunch happens.

Other Scientific sources says The world has another 5 Billion years to go before all the necessary Elements such as Hydrogen is used up and this also proves those who say that the world is 4.56 years old and its remaining 5 Billion Years old as the Total will be 4.61 which is a Maximum life of the Earth. This is a Miracle of The Quran to use the word Earth 461 Times. It’s not possible fo the Huma Being to produce such a Book in the 7th Century The time when there was no Computers like today. Allahu Akbar. God is Great and Prophet Mohamad (PBUH) is the true Messenger of Allah (God)

SLIDE NUMBER 8 (RATIO OF AGE OF THE EARTH TO THE UNIVERSE

There is pretty much a unanimous decision in the Quran the word days refer to a period of time, and in the same sense, the Quran is saying the Universe has been made in 6 days, and the Earth was made in two, this means its a 2:6 ratio; 0.33 i.e. the Earth took 1/3 of the time it took to form the Univers

A quick google search brings back the Universe has been around for almost 3.8 billion years, and and as we have seen on the above Slide the earth has been around for 4.61 billion years, So In The world of Science when we divide the Age of the Universe to the Earth 4.61 /13.8 = 0.33 This is the same ratio as when we divided the 4 to 2 from the Quran. so that means according to scientific observation, the earth took approx. 1/3 of the time it took to form the Univers

SIX DAYS OF CREATION-UNIVERSE AND EARTH

Chapter (7) sūrat l-aʿrāf (The Heights)

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ۬ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ يُغۡشِى ٱلَّيۡلَ ٱلنَّہَارَ يَطۡلُبُهُ ۥ حَثِيثً۬ا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَٲتِۭ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۤ‌ۗ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلۡخَلۡقُ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ‌ۗ تَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (٥٤)

Translation:

Indeed, your Lord is Allah , who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah , Lord of the worlds.

FROM THOSE 6 DAYS IT TOOK TWO DAYS TO CREATE EARTH

Chapter (41) sūrat fuṣṣilat (Explained in Detail) From Ayat Number 9-12

قُلۡ أَٮِٕنَّكُمۡ لَتَكۡفُرُونَ بِٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِى يَوۡمَيۡنِ وَتَجۡعَلُونَ لَهُ ۥۤ أَندَادً۬ا‌ۚ ذَٲلِكَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (٩)

Say, “Do you indeed disbelieve in He who created the earth in two days and attribute to Him equals? That is the Lord of the worlds.”

FROM THOSE 6 DAYS IT TOOK 4 DAYS TO DECORATE THE EARTH

وَجَعَلَ فِيہَا رَوَٲسِىَ مِن فَوۡقِهَا وَبَـٰرَكَ فِيہَا وَقَدَّرَ فِيہَآ أَقۡوَٲتَہَا فِىٓ أَرۡبَعَةِ أَيَّامٍ۬ سَوَآءً۬ لِّلسَّآٮِٕلِينَ (١٠)

And He placed on the earth firmly set mountains over its surface, and He blessed it and determined therein its [creatures’] sustenance in four days without distinction – for [the information] of those who ask.

ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَهِىَ دُخَانٌ۬ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلۡأَرۡضِ ٱئۡتِيَا طَوۡعًا أَوۡ كَرۡهً۬ا قَالَتَآ أَتَيۡنَا طَآٮِٕعِينَ (١١)

Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, “Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion.” They said, “We have come willingly.”

FROM THOSE 6 DAYS IT TOOK 2 DAYS TO COMPLETE THE CREATION OF THE HEAVENS

فَقَضَٮٰهُنَّ سَبۡعَ سَمَـٰوَاتٍ۬ فِى يَوۡمَيۡنِ وَأَوۡحَىٰ فِى كُلِّ سَمَآءٍ أَمۡرَهَا‌ۚ وَزَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِمَصَـٰبِيحَ وَحِفۡظً۬ا‌ۚ ذَٲلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ (١٢)

And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

IMPORTANT COMMENT

It took 6 Days (Periods) to create Heavens and Earth. From These 6 Periods he also used sometime to Decorate the Earth. While he was creating Heavens and Earth he was also preparing the Earth for 4 days or periods of these same 6 Days. Let’s not get get confused as many people do by searching for contradictions. There is no contradiction in the Quran but we have no much knowledge about creation and that’s why we ask many questions. Allah has already shown in another Ayaat that he has not shown humans how he created the Universe and therefore we are ignorant of many things in his creation.

The Miracle is Scientists tells us that The Earth has been developing for 4 Periods too!!!! as on Side Number 9 Below exactly as the Quran tells us. Scientists doesn’t believe in Creation but Evolution so they tell us these 4 periods are: 1/Hadean 2/Archean 3/Proterozoic 4/Phanerozoic. But we believe in Creation and we say Thanks for the Scientistst Researches we agree in these 4 periods but they are the 4 periods mentioned in the Quran and not Evolution. We also learn that the Great Scientists of our Century have thrown the Theory of Evolution into the Historical Bin since the discovery of Genetics. There are many evidences but only one is enough on this small website; One very frequent “evidence” used to show that Darwin did not believe his own theory involved the human eye. In The Origin of Species, we read:

To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.
